A one day class on Saturdays from 12-6pm. $135 + materials purchased at EweKnit. Pattern included.
The design suits fabrics from the boldest prints, to minimal solids. It's so versatile! That's why we've made a class for this great project. You'll learn to choose a size and cut your pattern, construct your garment, and learn about sewing a neck facing and finishing patch pockets. by the end of the class you'll have a dress that you'll want to wear all summer long!
Sizes: US Women's sizes 0-22
Materials: Come to the store and we'll help you pick something out. Best results are achieved by washing your fabric prior to the class so please leave extra time for this.
Lauren Lavery is a self-taught sewist, visual artist and freelance writer. Her sewing practice is primarily focused on garment making and seeking out more sustainable approaches to making and mending. Her favourite fabric brands include Merchant and Mills, Robert Kaufman and Liberty London, and she has a passion for any and all things linen. She holds a BFA with Honours from Simon Fraser University's School for the Contemporary Arts in Vancouver, BC.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations or changes must be made be made five days prior to your first class. We will issue a store credit, so you can take another class.
