Learn Japanese Embroider: Make a Alice Makabe Kit: A two day class on March 26 & April 2 10am-12:30pm
Have you been eyeing Alice Makabe's gorgeous designs but don't know where to start? Alice Makabe's gorgeous designs are all based on the nature that surrounds her, starting in her own backyard. Each design is comprised of a variety of simple stitches that make up gorgeous floral compositions. This course will take you through making your first Alice Makabe kit by taching you basic embroidery stitches that you can use on all future projects.
Instructor: Midori Sakurai Miller
Born in Japan, has been in Toronto since 2000. She has always loved using her hands and creating things.
