“This sweater is inspired by air and my childhood memories of air. For me air is movement, a smell, and a feeling. It is the movement of leaves blowing in the wind and the smell of spring when I am in the garden. It is also memories from my childhood of going to the ocean, feeling the sea breeze, seeing the birds soar in the distance, and smelling everything that the ocean is. This sweater is a memory of, and ode to, the air and everything it encounters. It's light and airy with a gentle drape. It is delicate and shimmery like air and the leaf pattern in the sweater moves with the wind.
