Shipping

Canada: We use Canada Post. For orders under $150, we charge a flat rate shipping charge of $15 that comes with a tracking number. Free shipping is available on orders over $150* and this service includes a tracking number and $100 of insurance. The expected delivery time is usually 4-7 days although it can be faster if you live in a major urban center. There is No Free Shipping on Sale Days! Please note, that if you live in a remote area, we may need to contact you for additional shipping fees, if the shipping charges are extremely high. 

Continental United States: We charge a flat rate shipping charge for shipments going to the US that includes tracking. Canada Post (in conjunction with USPS) light packet service is used for the standard service. Expected delivery times are 10-12 business days, due to delays processing at US customs. When you place an order, you will see an amount for duty collected at check out, which is being paid by us up front on your shipment in order for it to clear customs. In extreme circumstances, we may need to charge additional duty fees. If this is the case, we will contact you to let you know the additional cost prior to shipping. Orders from outside the continental United States, will be treated as international orders and international shipping rates will apply. For orders that are larger than the weight limit for small packet air, we will contact you to let you know the actual shipping cost.

International Orders: We charge a flat rate shipping charge of $35 without tracking for light packet air shipping. Canada Post's (in conjunction with your national mail provider) light packet service is used for the standard service. Light packet service generally takes 2-6 weeks to Europe and 6-8 weeks to Asia/Australia/New Zealand. This service does not come with tracking and insurance. If these features are important to you, please use the air-tracked packet service which includes a tracking number and $100 of insurance. Expected delivery terms are 4-7 days for air-tracked service. For both international surface and air services, the packages must weigh under 2kg. If it is more than 2 kg, we will divide the order into two and contact you to let you know that there will be additional shipping charges.

For international orders, we cannot mark the package as a gift since this is illegal. Additional duty or taxes may apply to your order upon receipt. If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival, the goods will be returned to us at your expense, and you will receive a store credit for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping and any other fees that were charged to us. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.

All Orders: Please note, we do not assume responsibility for packages that do not arrive. While this is a very rare occurrence, please consider using one of the tracked service options. On international orders, there is also the possibility that customs and brokerage fees may apply. These fees are the responsibility of the customer.

*Net value refers to the value of the order after any applicable discounts and promotions but before taxes and shipping.

*Sorry, there is no free shipping on sale items.

*For large fabric orders, we will contact you if the shipping cost is more than double the standard shipping rate to see if you want to proceed with the order. Our already low prices on fabric make it impossible to absorb all of the shipping costs.
