Shipping

We use flat rate shipping where the rate is based on your destination and the level of service that you select.  The majority of our customers use standard shipping but we also offer enhanced shipping for those that require extra shipping speed or the piece of mind that comes with tracking and insurance.

 

Shipping Details

Within Canada, we use Canada Post's expedited parcel service.  This service includes a tracking number and $100 of insurance.  The expected delivery time is usually 4-7 days although it can be faster if you live in a major urban center. Free Shipping (using the standard level of service) is provided on orders with a net value greater than $100*.

In continental United States, we charge a flat rate shipping charge of $10 (our with tracking service is $15). Canada Post's (in conjunction with USPS) light packet service is used for the standard service.  This service does not come with tracking and insurance.  If this is important to you, please use the tracked packet service which includes a tracking number and $100 of insurance.  Expected delivery terms are 4-7 days.  Orders from outside the continental United States, will be treated as international orders and international shipping rates will apply.

Internationally, we charge a flat rate shipping charge of $15 (our air service without tracking is $35 and our expedited air service with tracking is $45). Canada Post's (in conjunction with your national mail provider) light packet surface service is used for the standard service. Light packet surface service generally takes 2-6 weeks to Europe and 6-8 weeks to Asia/Australia/New Zealand.  Neither of these two services come with tracking and insurance.  If these features are important to you, please use the air-tracked packet service which includes a tracking number and $100 of insurance.  Expected delivery terms are 4-7 days for air-tracked service. For both international surface and air services, the packages must weigh under 2kg. If it is more than 2 kg, we will divide the order into two and contact you to let you know that there will be additional shipping charges.  For international orders, we cannot mark the package as a gift since this is illegal.

Please note, we do not assume responsibility for packages that do not arrive.  While this is a very rare occurrence, please consider using one of the tracked service options. On international orders, there is also the possibility that customs and brokerage fees may apply.  These fees are the responsibility of the customer.

 

*net value refers to the value of the order after any applicable discounts and promotions but before taxes and shipping.
