Though real butterflies aren’t golden, the ones on this sweater are. They symbolize precious memories of my uncle and our butterfly-hunting adventures. Tasked with studying Central American butterflies, we spent months collecting, identifying and creating a sanctuary to observe their life cycle. This process of transformation forged a lasting bond between us, making the golden butterflies of this sweater a tribute to our shared moments.
