Piccolo Fiore Pattern

As many of you know, I absolutely love flowers. In this design, I incorporated floral motifs on a small scale, which I find much more flattering and easier to wear and combine with everyday clothing.

In this sweater, the flowers themselves form the stripes, creating a soft and elegant rhythm across the fabric. If you prefer a more minimal look, you can also choose to work just a couple of floral lines across the chest.

The construction is a yoke-style design with a few short rows and a touch of raglan shaping. It is worked top-down and completely seamless, making it approachable and enjoyable to knit. It is also especially friendly for knitters who have never tried colorwork before.

Yarn C: Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair in Dark Moose - 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4) balls

The burgundy coloured sample is knit using:
Yarn A: Lamana Modena in Bordeaux - 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7) balls
Yarn B: Fibre Carpe Diem Allegra in Carmin - 3 (4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6) skeins
