Crochet is a popular craft in El Salvador, my home country, since the weather is generally too hot for knitted clothes. The neckpiece of this Robin cardigan is a relatively simple project even for a beginner, but the result equally charming without it)

Yarn

Yarn A: 2 (2, 2, 2, 3) (3, 4, 4, 5) skeins of Merino by Knitting for Olive (100% merino wool, 273 yds / 249 m – 50 g), colourway Rust

Yarn B: 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) (4, 4, 5, 5) skeins of Soft Silk Mohair by Knitting for Olive (70% mohair, 30% silk, 246 yds / 225 m – 25 g), colourway Rust

Both yarns are held together throughout the pattern with the exception of the collar. Collar is worked with 1 strand of Yarn A, fingering-weight.

Needles (NOT IN KIT): US 5 /3.75 mm 16" / 40 cm circular needles (optional), 24" / 60 cm and a set of DPNs. US 6 / 4 mm 16" / 40 cm circular needles (optional), 24" / 60 cm and a set of DPNs. US 3-D / 3.25 mm crochet hook for crocheted collar.
