    The flower motif is worked not as embroidering but as weaving between the stitches while knitting. It is traditional Estonian technique and called “Roosimine”, which means Rose in Estonian language. The pattern made with this technique is called “Roositud”. Traditional Estonian Roositud patterns have quite geometrical form and are worked in a set of bright primary colors.

    Designed to fit with 10–15cm / 4–6“ of positive ease. Sample is size S worn with 11 cm / 4.75 inches positive ease at bust.

    Yarn

    MC: 3 (3, 3, 4) (4, 4, 5, 5)(5, 6, 6, 7) skeins of Kokon Yarn Fingering Weight Merino (100% merino wool; 320 meters/100g), shown in color Madder.

    CC1 (Leaf): Kokon Yarn Chunky Mohair, shown in color Cork.

    CC2 (Flower): Kokon Yarn DK Weight Merino, shown in color Gold.

    Needles: (not included)

    4.5 mm / US 7 needle as main needle, 3.5 mm / US 4 for neck, hem and cuff. Adjust needle size if necessary to get gauge.

    Gauge: 20 sts x 28 rows = 10 cm /4“, with main needle in stockinette stitch after wet blocking.
