PATTERN NOTES
Hat is worked in the round from the brim to the crown. Simple colour work is worked after the brim and is read from a chart. When changing colours keep tension loose so that hat retains elasticity. An optional line of crochet chain appliqué is worked just above the ribbed brim to give stability and to ensure a snug fit. Work this chain firmly, but not too tight so that hat can still be stretched. This pattern is written to use DPNs, however it can also be worked with magic loop if you prefer.
