    Midori Pullover

Happy Thursday everyone, we are so excited to share this letter with you, so much has been happening and arriving that we can't wait to share with you!

This is an extra special Thursday for us as Harrisville Designs has release its new yarn and pattern series, and it includes a sweater designed by Eweknit's very own Claudia Q - The Midori Pullover! This pattern was named after Claudia's good friend, Midori (if you are reading this Midori, we have a sweater already made up just for you!) This gorgeous new sweater features a textured yoke with three different complimentary stitch patterns. Not only does it look beautiful, but it keeps your interest the entire time you are knitting! Made up in the Harrisville Daylight you get amazing stitch definition out of this beautiful yarn. You can find the pattern for the beautiful Midori Pullover here and for this weekend only, to celebrate the launch of the pattern, you can get it for free using the code MidoriFree when you check out!

This new yarn by Harrisville, the Daylight Collection, is meant as a complimentary collection to the dark and mysterious Nightshades Collection. It is equally squishy and cozy as it’s made up in the same  3-ply American cormo and wool combine that forms a light and airy DK weight yarn that is soft and distinct. It has the same subtle shades of colour added to the yarn, but rather than added to a black base it is added to a cream base giving warmth and dimension to each shade. Daylight really is a suitable name for this new yarn, go check it out here!

We have kits available for pre order in each of the six new shades, you can find those kits here!

    Merchant and Mills
And for all you sewists out there, we have some brand new goodies for you as well! A new shipment of Merchant and Mills has brought us some amazing new fabrics from gorgeous new plaids to fresh and exciting linens. We also received a restock on some favourite notions like the Bespoke tape measure and beautiful gold fine work scissors. One of our favourite new sewing notions is the Box of Five pins set, which has, you guessed it, five different types of pins for all your pinning needs. This set would make a great gift for the sewist in your life, especially if that sewist is you!
    The Dress Shirt

This is a lightweight, versatile dress inspired by Grandpa’s shirt. It is a relaxed, classic cut to be worn loose and is absurdly comfortable. Includes a rolled up sleeve or a short sleeve.

This is a great beginner pattern and would look great in a Chambray or Linen!
    The Box Box

Dress it up or down, this boxy top or dress is going to be an essential wardrobe addition. The front pleat detail is enough to make this design stand out. The simple rouleaux loop-back neck closure reflects the simplicity of the silhouette.

This simple dress would look amazing made up in something like Tencel Twill

    The Factory Dress

Inspired by working women, with a dash of the Twenties. The Factory Dress slips over the head, features pockets and ready-rolled up sleeves. The Factory dress is ‘easy fit’ so use the bust measurement only for sizing.

We think this dress would look great in a chambray or tencel twill!

    Nani Iro
We have also received even more Nani Iro! If you are looking for some gorgeous monochromatic fabric, look no further than the Nani Iro Beau Yin Yang collection. This stunning collection of fabric offers simple artistry in every pattern. With confidence we can say that you will love this line.

Or are you looking for some fun and colourful fabrics? We've got it covered! The Yui Collection features beautiful watercolour prints designed by artist Ayano Ichiyanagi. Ayano takes her inspiration from every day life, focusing on the serenity found in nature.

These fabrics make beautiful articles of clothing, but we also think they make amazing pieces of home decor from curtains to napkins, there really is no end of possibilities to ensure you have these amazing prints in your life.
    Dear Stella
We’ve received a few adorable new fabric collections from Dear Stella. We also received the Night Ride collection - a whimsical group of galaxies and squirrels with headlamps and bears on bikes. It’s as weird and wonderful as it sounds! You can find the fat quarter bundles for this fantastic collection here!

The fabric is lightweight and easy to sew with making it super versatile!  It is ideal for quilting, but can also be used for crafts, miscellaneous sewing projects, or home decor items like pillow covers and bed skirts.

The Fox Sweater is an adorably fun sweater is made in Genmou by Daruma a unique 3-ply yarn made up of one ply of untwisted carded wool and two thin, tightly spun threads twisted loosely around it to hold it all together. The effect is an airy and extremely light yarn, that results in a very smooth knit fabric.

This is the second sweater that is part of the Cozy Up Knits KAL mentioned above. We have kits available here if you want to join in on the fun!
    Honey Hat

We've made this sweater up in Isager Alpaca 2 held together with the dreamy Isager Silk Mohair - held together this dynamic duo creates a scrumptiously soft fabric that still has a beautiful drape. And as a bonus the combo of Alpaca and Mohair is unbelievably strong, meaning this is a piece that will last you for years.  You can find kits made up in this combo here!
