Midori Pullover
Happy Thursday everyone, we are so excited to share this letter with you, so much has been happening and arriving that we can't wait to share with you!
This is an extra special Thursday for us as Harrisville Designs has release its new yarn and pattern series, and it includes a sweater designed by Eweknit's very own Claudia Q - The Midori Pullover! This pattern was named after Claudia's good friend, Midori (if you are reading this Midori, we have a sweater already made up just for you!) This gorgeous new sweater features a textured yoke with three different complimentary stitch patterns. Not only does it look beautiful, but it keeps your interest the entire time you are knitting! Made up in the Harrisville Daylight you get amazing stitch definition out of this beautiful yarn. You can find the pattern for the beautiful Midori Pullover here and for this weekend only, to celebrate the launch of the pattern, you can get it for free using the code MidoriFree when you check out!
This new yarn by Harrisville, the Daylight Collection, is meant as a complimentary collection to the dark and mysterious Nightshades Collection. It is equally squishy and cozy as it’s made up in the same 3-ply American cormo and wool combine that forms a light and airy DK weight yarn that is soft and distinct. It has the same subtle shades of colour added to the yarn, but rather than added to a black base it is added to a cream base giving warmth and dimension to each shade.Daylight really is a suitable name for this new yarn, go check it out here!
And for all you sewists out there, we have some brand new goodies for you as well! This is a lightweight, versatile dress inspired by Grandpa’s shirt. It is a relaxed, classic cut to be worn loose and is absurdly comfortable. Includes a rolled up sleeve or a short sleeve.
This is a great beginner pattern and would look great in a Chambray or Linen!
